SHEIKH EŞREF EFENDI invited as key-note speaker by the spiritual advisor of President Trump to Washington D.C., Capitol Complex
A Voice for Humanity and Spiritual Renewal.

Sheikh Eşref Efendi, a Turkish-born Naqshbandi Sufi master and ambassador for amity, is considered one of the most influential figures in contemporary Sufi spirituality, interfaith dialogue, and peace building. His life’s work connects the timeless wisdom of classical Sufism with the urgent humanitarian challenges of our time.

Engagement and Peace Initiatives
Sheikh Eşref Efendi’s “Sufi Way to Humanity” tours carry his message across continents, building bridges between cultures and religions—especially in regions marked by conflict and alienation. From the Holy Land along the Silk Road to Kashmir and India, from the Global South to Latin America and Canada, he promotes dialogue, compassion, and unity.

SPIRITUAL GUIDANCE FOR ALL
Governments and institutions worldwide seek his advice on issues such as women’s rights, labour rights, and social justice, recognising the importance of spiritual leadership for peace and ethical governance. Notably, he was the first religious—leader invited to speak before the Senado de la República in Mexico City and the Congreso de Veracruz.—all within the framework of his Sufi Way to Humanity through spirituality, a bridge between individuals and politics.
A link for unity

In an era of division and uncertainty, Sheikh Eşref Efendi serves as a link between traditional Sufism and modern humanitarian principles. His teachings, rooted in compassion and the Naqshbandi practice of remembrance, offer a timeless response to the challenges of ignorance and ethical decline.
Nelson Mandela Medal for Humanity
For his tireless commitment to peace and human dignity, Sheikh Eşref Efendi was awarded the Nelson Mandela Medal for Humanity by the Schengen Peace Foundation at the historic European Parliament building in Luxembourg.
One of the ten
The Federal Foreign Office selected him as a member of the ten-person German delegation to the 10th World Assembly of Religious Leaders in Lindau.
Honorary citizenships and menberships Mayors of several Mexican cities have granted him honorary citizenship and handed him the key of their city in recognition of his spiritual leadership. Numerous Islamic institutions in India and Kashmir, as well as the Higher Islamic Sufi Council in Jerusalem and the Holy Land, have made him an honorary member, particularly for his outstanding efforts in promoting interfaith peace.
Friend of Souls

Sheikh Eşref Efendi also enjoys the highest esteem among indigenous communities in the Americas and the Global South. One example is, the chief of the Arhuaco tribe in the Sierra Nevada, Colombia, bestowed upon him the title “Amigo del alma”—Friend of Souls.
