New episode "Against the norm": we have now reached the point where we can refer to previous episodes. In the first episode, we talked about plans for a Global Cultural Assembly. Now, in June 2025, the planned Assembly has taken place at the Humboldt Forum and laid the foundations for lasting, sustainable, and authentic cooperation between international experts and Humboldt Forum stakeholders. Halfway through the conference week, four members of the Preparatory Group answered our questions about their work and gave us an insight into what they hope to achieve in the coming years. They were Feride Funda G.-Gençaslan, Fabiano Kueva, Augustine Moukodi, and Achiles Mujunangoma Bufure.

Sufi Center Rabbaniyya

"Europe's largest cultural center in the Old Palace in Berlin will open its exhibition rooms on Islam on September 17, 2022.

In cooperation with the Humboldt Forum and the Ethnological Museum Berlin, the Sufi Center Rabbaniyya has the great honor of exhibiting the legacy of Mawlana Sheikh Nazım in everyday objects of the Honorable Naqshbandiyya Order as part of the exhibition module "Mystical Dimensions of Islam."
This is the first time in the history of the Sufi orders that such a cooperation has taken place. Historical garments such as the "Sikke," which Sheikh Nazım received as a gesture of honor from the head of the Mevlevi Order, as well as digital dhikr counters, will adorn the new walls of the Old Palace in Berlin for the next five years.

The exhibition is curated by the Order's representative and chairwoman Hajja Feride F. G.-Gençaslan, who will also be responsible for all future events of the Rabbaniyya Sufi Center at the Humboldt Forum.

At the opening on September 17, the Rabbaniyya Sufi Center will invite visitors to immerse themselves in the mysticism of the Orient with traditional chants, whirling dervishes, and spiritual wisdom at the Humboldt Forum.

The head of the order, Mawlana Sheikh Mehmed Adil Naqshbandi, will travel from Istanbul to attend the opening ceremony and give a speech.

Outside of the current exhibition, the Sufi Evening Berlin takes place every first Friday of the month at the International Cultural Center ufaFabrik, where people can meet and get to know each other.

The year 2023 is marked by Sufism

This year marks the anniversary of the passing of the renowned Sufi master Mawlana Jelaluddin Rumi, his farewell and wedding night Shab-i Arus, for the 750th time.

To mark this occasion, we at the Sufi Center Rabbaniyya are organizing a series of lectures and events on his spiritual ideas and poetry.

We are particularly looking forward to the lecture series "Rumi's Treasure Trove of Love," held every first Saturday of the month at the Humboldt Forum in Berlin, where you can also visit our exhibition "The Legacy of Mawlana" throughout the year and take curator-led tours of the Humboldt Forum. a34>Mawlana" and book free curator tours of the entire "Aspects of Islam" module for your groups.

If you haven't done so yet, follow 2025 and heed the call of Mawlana: Come, come, whoever you are!

We also participate in nationwide collaborations and events on the subject of mysticism and mystical Islam, and look forward to even more encounters, hopefully also in your area.
