Humboldt-Multimedia

June, you remain in our minds: In June, history was lifted onto the roof—with the final balustrade figures and a festive theme day, we celebrated the completion of the Humboldt Forum. There was also a lot going on inside the building: Minister of State for Culture Wolfram Weimer paid a visit, while 80 delegates from all over the world gathered for the Global Cultural Assembly. 📚✨ With events such as "Objects Contradict" with Cristina Rivera Garza, "Intertwined Memories," and the atmospheric closing concert by the Resident Music Collective for the Fête de la musique, the Schlüterhof became a sound space and meeting place—choir concerts included. Thank you to everyone who was there! .

🌍 What a week! Six days full of encounters, exchanges, and visions: From June 16 to 21, 2025, more than 80 delegates from different regions of the world gathered at the Humboldt Forum. Their goal: to jointly develop new ways of international cooperation and set the course for lasting co-creation—a worldwide first for lasting international cooperation and cultural responsibility. The Humboldt Forum Foundation in Berlin Palace, the Ethnological Museum, and the Museum of Asian Art of the Berlin State Museums have committed to enabling this initiative and institutional transformation in the coming years.

During many hours of workshops, not only was a new declaration drafted, but a reference group was also elected to accompany the collaborative governance process in the future.

👏Thank you to all delegates of the Global Cultural Assembly 2025! .
