The Global Cultural Assembly

The Global Cultural Assembly is meeting again at the Humboldt Forum and
Hajja Feride Funda G-Gencaslan is also participating again on behalf of the Rabbaniyya Sufi Center:
"Cultural and educational work is becoming increasingly important, especially now, when there is so much conflict, uncertainty, and exclusion, and it must be promoted at all costs."
The Global Cultural Assembly (GCA) is coming to the Humboldt Forum! At the beginning of June, 80 delegates from around the world will gather in Berlin to work together on the further development of a Global Cultural Embassy.
The meeting follows on from a major event: on the occasion of the opening of the permanent exhibitions at the Ethnological Museum and the Museum of Asian Art in September 2022, indigenous and international guests who had been involved in the creation of the exhibitions in various roles came together. This encounter gave rise to the Declaration on Dignity, Transparency, and Continuity.
Since then, the experiment to create a permanent structure for participation and co-determination at and within the Humboldt Forum has been underway. This is already evident in a dedicated space at the Humboldt Forum, curated by members of the Global Cultural Assembly (GCA).
At the same time, the Assembly will also be open to interested members of the public—through roundtable discussions, presentations, meetings, and a closing celebration as part of the Fête de la Musique.
